Sailing camp 44 × Bora Sailing on J/70s in Montenegro

The 44 × Bora Sailing camp on J/70 boats in Montenegro. Before the races we had 3 days of intensive training to learn or refresh every skill, and at the regatta each crew was accompanied by an experienced instructor who knows the waters and local winds inside out.

Accommodation

J/70s are small boats with barely enough room for the sails inside, so we stayed ashore in apartments.

FAQ

What is a J/70?

A small sport boat weighing under a ton and only 7 metres long, giving the most thrilling sailing sensations to beginners and experienced sailors alike.

I have never sailed before

No problem, the instructor will teach you everything! Everyone gets their own role on the boat and sharpens their skills over four days, then shows them off in the regatta.

What is the daily schedule?

The morning training starts at 10 am and runs until 1 pm, followed by lunch at the yacht club canteen or a restaurant. The second session runs from 2 to 5 pm, followed by a one-hour theory course and free time. The schedule may change with weather and participants’ skills.

What will I get from the camp?

Skills in handling a sport sailboat, the experience of a real regatta, five days of active training in the middle of Tivat Bay and that indescribable sense of freedom that makes us all sail.
